About Hollow Body Experience

Jason Ochsner played his 1st performance when he was 10 years old in Cape Cod, MA. From a young age everyone noticed that he focused more on creating & songwriting rather than mimicking what songs & sounds were out there. It was obvious to his family that he found his creative calling & have watched as he has been involved in music ever since.

He started his professional career at 18, recording demos with bands & playing the bar scene as a guitar player throughout the Delmarva area.  Jason landed his 1st record at the age of 19 as a singer for a local heavy metal band.

Most of Jason’s music influence came from his mother’s bar who hosted bands 3 nights a week when he was in his late teens & early 20’s. Often as the soundman, Jason became to respect the older more established musicians & was inspired by their music. Even though he played & focused on his passion for metal & rock; it was blues, country & folk that was truly running through his veins & pushing to come out. It is why Jason eventually evolved into the organic musician that he is today. Concerning himself with the preservation of traditions as he still rocks out.

Now at the age of 52, Jason Ochsner is a proud father & grandfather, has recoded 9 studio albums, 4 EPs, & is about to release Hollow Body Experience’s 3rd LP, entitled “a little further down the road”.

Jason is playing throughout the United States in 2026 to promote his new music.
